A Book Review

Easter Stories
Classic Tales for the Holy Season

…is a collection of classic stories, ideal for reading aloud during the Easter season and throughout the year. There are great stories that warm the heart while demonstrating the spirit of Christ.  Authors include C. S. Lewis, Leo Tolstoy, Oscar Wilde, John Masefield and many others.

I especially enjoyed “Two Old Men” by Leo Tolstoy, “Stories from the Cotton Patch Gospel” by Clarence Jordan and From The Everlasting Mercy by John Masefield.  All of which was set in different periods of time and with their own flair.

This is an excellent choice of stories to share during the Easter Season.  In addition I would recommend this book to be shared with the entire family as a read aloud activity to remind us throughout the entire year of the importance and Spiritual meaning of Easter and of the lessons and sacrifice of Christ.  This book is a great addition for your personal library.
