A Book Review
Love Changes Everything
Finding
What’s Real In A World Full Of Fake
by
Micah
Berteau
This
book has multiple examples of what mankind think is love driven by
their desires without the knowledge of Real love that can only be
found in God. God is love is heard and not received because the
world offers so many fake options of what is thought to be love.
Micah
Berteau starts his introduction with a welcome letting the reader
know that this the beginning of this love expedition and the book is
on the love of Jesus. He goes on to say that it is” The powerful,
relentless, profound, unshakable, unfathomable, immeasurable,
overwhelming, incalculable, incomprehensible and undeniable love of
God.”
He
uses Hosea and Gomer to illustrate the love of God for His children.
He points out that It is difficult to know God’s values when we
keep telling him ours. “We want God to give us the values of our
heart. We pray that God will bless us with what we have deemed
worthy. We pray our will over God’s will. We ask him to do his
work in our timing.” Because we are driven by our desires we make
wrong choices. We’ve lost our worth and we do not know Jesus loves
us because of it.
He
says “We live in a world where everything is built on a fleeting
foundation. Anything we gain from this world is only temporary.
Stop looking for eternal answers from a fading world.”
This
book directs you to the Real love that fills the void that is in your
life. It is thorough with scriptural background, illustrations and
examples that will aid one in finding that the Real love of God
present in your life and answering your personal calling changes
everything in a world full of Fake.
This
book was provided by the publisher for me to give an honest opinion
of the book.
Sounds like a good read...God's love is truly not fictitious...unfailing...to say the least...
