Prayer Is Always In Order
I've thought of writing a
post for several days now since the bombing of the Boston Marathon. Not
knowing where I wanted to start, I thought first to pray.
When we look at the tragedies occurring in the
world today it seems to hit home more often now than ever. We are living
in uncertain times. Although times are uncertain God is a constant.
He is constantly faithful, His love is faithful, His forgiveness, His
concern for us and the list goes on.
I am encouraged to continue to pray as the bible has stated: I
Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. (KJV) Another familiar
scripture says: Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
(or woman) availeth much. James 5:16. (KJV)
My challenge, request or
reminder today is that we pray without ceasing.
As we see the bitter with the sweet, we must be mindful that we serve a God
who is more than capable to handle any situation and that through our prayers
there is healing and much can be done through God on bent knees with fervent
prayer.
Be encouraged, trust God,
always!
Until next time, His
Blessings to You J
Prayer changes things!
